"Retire With Purpose" was a free one-hour seminar targeted at people considering retirement, those about to retire, and folks who were currently retired. The purpose of this program was to help them find their purpose emotionally and spiritually through Christ and how to find the purpose God had for them.

for this program, I was to update the Facebook post image for this event. To brainstorm ideas for this project I looked up marketing and advertising material targeting the retirement pool, in my findings I noticed they used a lot of images of happy elderly people and since this event was about finding purpose and enjoying the life the lord had planned for you I felt it was very important to keep that narrative. for color choice, I saw blue purple orange, and green my chose for blue initially was because ("Blue is seen as a sign of stability and reliability. Businesses that want to project an image of security often utilize blue in their advertising and marketing efforts.") and the font style chosen was due to the company telling me they enjoyed using a mix of script and serif fonts in the work.

After designing my initial ideas i was asked to try out a number of fonts and colors and font placement with the image they liked best in this phase i use alternative colors that i often saw being used in retirement advertisement as well as colors that i felt fit the color scheme for the image
